Role Responsibilities:

• Lead firewall network security initiatives, ensuring robust defense mechanisms against cyber threats.
• Implement and optimize firewall configurations, adhering to NISC policies and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to develop and enforce network security protocols and measures.
• Participate in a 35-hour work week with flexibility based on workload, focusing on enhancing network security posture.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in network security, specializing in firewall management and configurations
•  Experience with NISC policies, NIST, HIPAA, and federal agency compliance
• Proficiency in Cisco Switching Backbone, IDS/IPS, and cybersecurity protocols
• Nice-to-have: Pen Testing experience with configuration changes based on findings

Salary & Benefits: 

• Competitive salary: $90,000 to $100,000 annually
