Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current security architecture across GCP and AWS to identify risks, gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Develop robust security architectures aligned with business and compliance requirements, focusing on IAM, data protection, and cloud-native services.
- Advise stakeholders and engineering teams on remediation strategies, security guardrails, and control implementations.
- Create clear, actionable documentation including design diagrams, security patterns, and architecture decision records.
- Work closely with cloud engineers, DevOps, compliance, and risk teams to ensure alignment and secure implementation of recommended solutions.
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Proven experience designing and assessing security in GCP and AWS environments.
- Strong knowledge of IAM strategies, RBAC, least privilege, and federation in multi-cloud contexts.
- Familiarity with encryption standards, data classification, secure storage, and key management in cloud environments.
- Ability to produce detailed architecture diagrams, security documentation, and threat models.
- Hands-on experience designing or implementing security guardrails to enforce cloud policy, access control, and compliance across cloud workloads.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6 months (with view for extension)
- Location: Hybrid/2 days per week in a preferred site (Multiple locations)
- Rate: Up to £575 per day Inside IR35
