Responsibilities:

  • Serving as an expert in cybersecurity for both classified and unclassified settings
  • Assessing, constructing, upholding, and advancing cybersecurity capabilities to safeguard the organization against evolving threats
  • Engaging in incident response, forensic assessments, and internal inquiries
  • Being a go-to resource for intricate inquiries
  • Maintaining a comprehensive comprehension of the organization's security stance and proactively suggesting adjustments and enhancements as needed

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated background in cyber security operations, incident response, and/or digital forensics
  • In-depth familiarity with hacker tools, methodologies, and practices
  • Proficiency with cyber security tools such as antivirus software, endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems, security information and event management (SIEM) platforms, email and web proxies, and vulnerability scanners
  • Experience in fundamental IT areas like system administration and networking
  • Sound grasp of Information Security Manual (ISM) and other relevant global industry security standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI DSS)
  • Existing defense security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
