Responsibilities:
- Act as the go-to expert for advanced server and network hardware issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex firmware and system-level failures
- Lead hardware problem management from immediate fixes to long-term solutions
- Mentor junior technicians and serve as a point of escalation
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams on future hardware improvements
- Develop and maintain operational processes and documentation
- Travel to data centers for hardware rollouts, upgrades, or special projects
Skills/Must have:
- In-depth experience with data center environments, servers, and networking equipment
- Strong command-line and Unix/Linux troubleshooting skills
- Advanced knowledge of system architecture and diagnostics
- Excellent network troubleshooting and analysis capabilities
- Proactive, reliable, and able to take full ownership of tasks
- Clear, professional communication in English written and spoken
Nice to have:
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, or Red Hat
- Experience with electronics repair at the component level including SMD
- Valid Category B driving license
