Senior DevSecOps Engineer - System Integrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Build secure, scalable, and resilient CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
• Integrate security practices across all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, security, and operations teams
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of CI/CD and cloud systems
• Implement and maintain automated security testing and compliance checks
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment, security, and operations
• Continuously improve DevSecOps processes and tooling to enhance efficiency and security

Skills / Must-Have Qualifications:

• Relevant degree required
• Experience building and maturing DevSecOps processes, including implementation of best practices and toolsets
• Comfortable working in a family- and faith-based organizational culture
• Able to quickly adapt and supplement existing work streams
• Willingness to work fully on-site for the first 6 months, with the possibility to transition to 1 day remote thereafter

Technical Requirements:

• DevSecOps practice is in early stages—candidate will help develop and mature the program
• Cloud development primarily in Google Cloud Platform (GCP); Azure used for infrastructure (no AWS)
• CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitOps
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift (no Docker)
• Align DevSecOps efforts to an existing security framework—currently not in place
• Familiarity with GitHub tools; experience leveraging SAST and DAST security scanning tools preferred
• Understanding of security risk registers and ability to align DevSecOps practices accordingly
• Infrastructure as Code knowledge is a plus, particularly Terraform experience
