Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and plan network architecture strategies for IP, Optical, Transport, and Access Networks.
  • Oversee deployment and design of DHCP/DNS/IPAMS (DDI) and routing protocols (e.g., IGP/EGP, SR-MPLS, TI-LFA).
  • Develop high-level standards for network deployments, focusing on product roadmap alignment and vendor management.
  • Work with OSP Engineering on fiber network design and guide capacity planning to anticipate necessary network upgrades.
  • Perform network security and remote access designs, ensuring reliable and scalable solutions.
  • Mentor team members on technology advancements, providing training and technical support for major systems.


Required Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Expert knowledge of BGP, CGNAT, Linux/Unix, Python/Shell Scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Ciena, Cisco, and Juniper equipment (CCNP/CCIE preferred).
  • Expertise in Service Provider IP voice systems, SIP, and Fiber Access network design.
  • Knowledge of DWDM, OTN, and Carrier Ethernet technologies.
  • Experience in deploying and managing virtualized environments (VMs, containers).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and clients.
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout the Northeast.
