The team is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimise enterprise network architectures. The role will focus on advanced troubleshooting, network automation, and ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency across critical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Tier 3/4 escalation point, working on high-impact issues while also contributing to future-proofing initiatives.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for routing, switching, and MPLS networks.
  • Configure, optimise, and maintain Juniper-based core systems.
  • Act as Tier 3/4 support for major incidents and complex faults.
  • Contribute to configuration and design projects alongside operational work.
  • Gain exposure to Fortinet SD-WAN, Ciena, and Nokia kit as part of network operations.
  • Support ongoing service improvements and technical excellence.


Skills / Must have:

  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and MPLS (Juniper core preferred).
  • Solid experience with OSPF and ISP-level networking.
  • Track record of handling senior-level escalations and troubleshooting complex networks.
  • Hands-on experience with Nokia equipment.
  • Familiarity with Fortinet SD-WAN and/or Ciena solutions.
  • Background at a Tier 1 ISP or comparable network service provider.

Location / Work Setup

Offices in Oswestry, Warrington, or London. Ideally, candidates should be based within 50 miles of one of these sites. Standard working hours are 9am–5pm.
