Senior Network Support Engineer - ISP

A New York-based internet service provider, known for its fully owned fiber-optic network and industry-leading customer experience, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Support Engineer to join its team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Juniper routers and switches, ensuring optimal network performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BGP and other routing protocols, as well as layer 2/3 network configurations.
• Act as a key escalation point for network-related support issues, working closely with customers and internal teams.
• Analyze network performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.
• Assist with network upgrades, deployments, and configuration changes as required.

Skills/Must have:

• 4+ years in a network support role, ideally in an ISP, MSP, or data center environment.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper routers and switches.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, or MPLS.
• Expertise in layer 2 transport methods such as VPWS, VPLS, or EVPN.

Salary:
