The team is hiring a Senior System Engineer to play a key role in designing, maintaining, and optimising critical infrastructure. This position will focus on ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive automation and performance improvements across the environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize the data plane for cloud network services.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of key services.
• Automate cross-service workflows to streamline operations.
• Conduct extensive load testing to ensure system robustness.

Skills/Must have:

• Strong coding skills with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Proficiency in C, with willingness to learn Go and/or C++.
• Solid understanding of network traffic routing.
• Nice to have: experience with VPP, DPDK, or Linux kernel networking; knowledge of overlays, SDN, NFV, DPI, or routing/tunneling protocols (BGP, MPLS).

Salary:

• Up to €120,000 gross per year depending on experience
