Software Engineer - Security Provider

We are seeking a contract Software Developer, to join this Cyber Security Service Provider where you'll play a pivotal role in system integration and development. This position is ideal for a dynamic professional skilled in Python,  database management, and Docker who thrives in Agile environments and values collaboration with security experts.

Responsibilities:

• System Integration and Development:
• Design and implement REST API services.
• Develop and extend database functionalities, focusing on MySQL and stored procedures.
• Deployment and Visualization:
• Expertly manage deployment processes using Docker containers.
• Utilise Grafana for effective data visualization and monitoring.
• Collaboration and Agile Methodology
• Work closely with specialized security SMEs.
• Participate actively in Agile processes, contributing to continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in Python: Demonstrated experience in Python for backend development.
• Docker Expertise: Solid understanding and practical experience with Docker for containerization.
• Database Management: Experience with MySQL and the ability to write and manage stored procedures.
• API Development: Ability to create and manage RESTful services.
• Visualization Tools: Familiarity with Grafana or similar tools for data visualization.
• Agile Collaboration: Experience working in Agile environments, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication

Duration: 3 Months Rolling 

Determination: Outside IR35
