Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and deployment of complex Layer 1 to Layer 3 network solutions
• Provide technical input into proposals, tenders, and solution architectures
• Design and document optical and IP networks, including DWDM, OTN, and carrier-grade Ethernet
• Contribute to presales efforts, including customer consultations, solution scoping, and technical presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery
• Provide technical mentorship and act as an escalation point for the engineering team
• Stay current with emerging technologies and provide input into strategic direction

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering with a strong track record in design and implementation
• Hands-on experience with optical networking (DWDM, OTN, fibre infrastructure) is essential
• Sound knowledge of IP networking, including routing, switching, and MPLS
• Experience working directly with clients or internal stakeholders in a presales or consultative capacity
• Familiarity with major vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Nokia
• Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills
• Industry certifications (e.g. CCNP, JNCIP, or optical vendor certs) highly regarded

• 145000
