Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer solutions within Azure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security configurations.
  • Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, or Azure CLI to improve scalability and consistency.
  • Collaborate on architecting hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring secure integration between on-premises systems and Azure.
  • Engineer and optimize Citrix environments (XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops) to deliver seamless and reliable end-user experiences.
  • Develop and maintain system monitoring and performance tuning strategies to ensure high availability and resilience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Azure, virtualization, networking, and Linux/Windows systems.
  • Partner with security teams to implement best practices for identity, compliance, and access controls in Azure.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, runbooks, and system diagrams to support ongoing operations and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to innovate, optimize, and modernize IT infrastructure services.
  • Provide technical mentorship to administrators and junior engineers, fostering growth and knowledge transfer.


Skills/Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Advanced certifications are a plus.
  • 7+ years of hands-on engineering experience in Microsoft Azure, including design, deployment, and optimization of cloud resources.
  • Strong background in Azure networking and hybrid integrations, including VNETs, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and security groups.
  • Solid expertise in Citrix technologies (XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops), including engineering and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows systems engineering, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Advanced skills in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, Terraform, or Ansible).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus).
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator Associate are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement scalable, reliable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
