The team is hiring a Systems Engineer to implement, maintain, and optimise enterprise IT systems. The role will focus on configuring infrastructure, troubleshooting incidents, and ensuring performance, scalability, and security across diverse environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the migration of IT services and applications into the internal IT environment
  • Deploy, configure, and support VMware-based applications, Windows VMs, and Linux systems
  • Provide operational support during and after migration phases
  • Contribute to system integration, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery


Skills / Must Have:

  • Solid experience with VMware, particularly in application migration and virtual infrastructure management
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on Linux administration skills across different distributions, including deployment, monitoring, and patching
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level IT systems in hybrid environments
  • Understanding of storage and backup technologies such as SAN, Veeam, and Commvault (desirable but not mandatory)
  • Familiarity with IT service management practices and working within structured project methodologies
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across virtualised, Windows, and Linux environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
