Responsibilities: 

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise server and storage solutions.
  • Create statements of work, technical implementation plans, and high-level bills of materials.
  • Lead technical projects and delegate tasks to engineering team members.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers, encouraging skill development and collaboration.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point and provide direction to deployment and support engineers.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and perform effective knowledge transfer at project completion.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while interfacing with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to organizational values such as integrity, customer-first mindset, and teamwork.


Skills/Must have:

  • 5+ years of experience with IT server and storage systems in design, deployment, and maintenance roles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Exchange (2016, 2019, Microsoft 365) in hybrid environments.
  • Deep knowledge of Active Directory, GPOs, NPS, and related directory services.
  • Windows Server administration (2016 through 2025).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server (2012–2019) administration.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms: VMware vSphere (HA, DRS, vMotion, distributed switching) and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery tools (e.g., Datto, Veeam).
