Are you a Juniper networking expert ready to lead from the front? A leading managed services provider is seeking a Technical Design Authority (TDA) to take ownership of designing and delivering enterprise-grade networking solutions for global clients. You’ll work alongside a smart, collaborative team of engineers and architects across major accounts in Europe and the US. This is a remote-first role with high visibility, complex projects, and the autonomy to shape network architecture at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Technical Design Authority for key enterprise accounts, leading HLD and architecture planning for Juniper-based networks.
  • Interface directly with customers, translating business requirements into scalable network solutions.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and vendors to ensure technical alignment and successful delivery.
  • Own and maintain technical design documentation and contribute to best practices across the organisation.
  • Support pre-sales conversations with expert insight and practical design knowledge.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in Juniper networking – ideally including Mist, though not essential.
  • Strong background in network architecture and high-level design (HLD).
  • Confident in customer-facing roles – able to present and simplify complex concepts to senior stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and take responsibility for full project design lifecycle.
  • Based in the UK with the ability to travel to London or Leeds a few times per month and occasionally to Europe/US.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Meraki SD-WAN or multi-vendor networking environments.
  • Exposure to Cisco or HPE solutions (in addition to strong Juniper knowledge).
  • Any relevant certifications (e.g., JNCIP, JNCIE) – highly desirable.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Base salary between £65,000 – £75,000
