vCIO - IT Solutions Provider

We are partnered with an IT services, solutions, and support provider and cloud specialist that have a fantastic opportunity for a vCIO to join their team! 

You will be joining a business that have been offering exceptional customer service and unrivaled technical know-how throughout Los Angeles and the San Fernando, San Bernardino, and Orange Counties since 2005.  

As a vCIO, you are responsible for establishing and maintaining Customer business level strategic relationships, then utilising and building on these relationships to better understand Customers’ business goals and objectives. The vCIO is responsible for establishing technology budgeting and strategic roadmaps for Customers that both reduce business risk and facilitate technology improvements across the business. 

A strong vCIO understands that technological decisions support broader business objectives. The candidate will help clients realize cost savings through IT improvements, create effective IT strategies tailored to the specific needs of different businesses, evaluate technology solution and make thoughtful recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Understand vCIO objectives, as well as the role and function of internal team members.
• Understand each client setup, history from internal team members, review and create documentation as well as history of projects.
• Review the current vCIO playbook and recommend changes as necessary.
• Perform regular remote and/or onsite (as needed) ABR, MBR, QBR Technology Business Reviews, as well network assessments with Customers and Prospects.
• Maintain frequent remote unique touches with Customers.
• Maintain, plan and develop a strategic roadmap profile for each Customer.
• Complete vCIO alignment reviews, based on Technology Alignment Reviews.
• Maintain clear and precise business and alignment objectives for each Customer.
• Maintain Customers’ technology budgets.

Skills/Must have:

• Strong all-round knowledge of IT, Cloud, Cybersecurity and telecommunications infrastructure, hardware and software applications.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of network and workstation operating systems, Microsoft Windows operating system, Virtualized environments, Cloud (Public, Private, Hybrid) and other complex compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience of Managed Services tools and best practices
