Responsibilities:

  • As a VoIP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of the VoIP and telecommunications services, particularly those deployed at customer premises. Serving as the top escalation point, you’ll tackle complex issues, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive resolutions to completion. Your expertise in voice and data technologies, combined with your ability to quickly restore services during outages, will be crucial.
  • You’ll handle live fault-finding, resolve cases within designated SLAs, and manage technical projects with precision. Using tools like VoIP Monitor and Wireshark, you’ll diagnose faults comprehensively before escalating when necessary. Additionally, you’ll configure and pre-build voice and data solutions, ensure accurate documentation, and participate in an on-call rotation to provide out-of-hours support.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues are essential, as well as providing training and professional development when needed. You’ll also maintain any necessary technical qualifications and adapt to the evolving needs of the business.

Skills/Must have:

  • VoIP/SIP Experience 
  • MCGP Experience 
  • Troubleshooting Experience
