An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Linux Engineer to join a high-performance engineering team operating at scale. The role focuses on building, maintaining, and improving a large Linux environment supporting latency-sensitive trading and research systems, with responsibility across provisioning, monitoring, optimisation, and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise large-scale Linux infrastructure across global environments
• Troubleshoot complex performance and system-level issues in production
• Build and improve automation tooling (Python/Bash)
• Enhance provisioning and configuration management processes
• Improve monitoring, observability, and overall system reliability

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong Linux systems engineering experience at scale (ideally bare-metal)
• Proven background in low-latency trading environments (current or previous)
• Solid scripting/automation skills (Python preferred)
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible)
• Strong troubleshooting across systems and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus)
