Senior Network Engineer - Service Provider

They are now seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead their Network Engineering team, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge fiber networks. 

You'll be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring their networks deliver seamless connectivity and reliability to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Network Engineering team in IP POP and Data Center commissioning, and the design and implementation of network elements in city-wide fiber networks.
• Drive research and development efforts to integrate new technologies that enhance community connectivity.
• Develop and implement procedures for network equipment software upgrades, ensuring the stability and efficiency of our networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Embody their core values, fostering a culture of trust, integrity, and innovation within the team.

Skills/Must-have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a telecoms ISP environment.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing core and distribution network architectures for Fiber-to-the-Premises ISPs.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• BGP, MPLS, ISIS Networking
• Cisco, Calix and Adtran experience

Salary:

• Up to $160,000 basic salary per annum
